Healthy Babies, Strong Families
Our Healthy Babies, Strong Families program is designed to empower families from the very beginning. We’re dedicated to providing essential prenatal and postnatal support to help create a strong foundation for every child, especially for Black families who often face unique challenges in accessing healthcare and support services, such as systemic barriers and disparities in maternal health.
Fatherhood Initiative
Fatherhood Initiative provides training classes for men to help them become better fathers by overcoming barriers to active involvement in their children's lives. The initiative focuses on helping fathers identify and overcome challenges to being involved in their children's lives.
Community Consortium
Our collaborative network focuses on leveraging expertise and community assets to inform community conversations, identify areas of opportunity, and programs and activities that work to eliminate infant and maternal health inequities in our Black and African American communities.

Community Facilities
Families Forward Resource Center offers a range of community facilities to enhance the well-being and convenience of our visitors. From welcoming workshop/meeting spaces to a well-equipped lactation room, we strive to provide a comfortable and supportive environment for all.
Lactation Room
Looking for a comfortable and private space to nurse your little one? Our facility offers an on-site lactation room equipped with all the essentials, including a cozy couch, refrigerator for storage, changing table, outlets, and even a sound machine to help soothe your baby. Rest assured that this space is completely private, so you can nurse peace and comfort.
Kathy Hill-Young Resource Clothing Store
The Kathy Hill-Young Resource store at Families First Resource Center allows the whole family access to essential items and gently used clothing. By exchanging goods and materials, the store promotes community support and empowerment.
Meeting Spaces
Our facility offers a variety of workshop and meeting spaces that are available for community use upon request. Whether you need a small room for a meeting or a larger for a workshop, we have options to fit your needs. Contact us to learn more about our available and to reserve a room for your next event.
Open Library & Learning Center
Our facility proudly offers a Resource Wall, an Early Child Development Library, and a Play Area for children. These amenities are available for use by all participants and visitors. Additionally, we will soon offer Denver perinatal education and mental health support. Stay tuned for more updates on our upcoming Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) program.
