Utility Assistance

Families Forward Resource Center is proud to partner with Energy Outreach Colorado to help Colorado residents maintain safe, comfortable, and stable homes through utility assistance support. We currently assist with utility bills for Xcel Energy, CORE Electric Cooperative, and United Power customers.

Our goal is to reduce the stress of unexpected or overdue energy costs by connecting families to the resources they need to keep their homes powered and warm.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for utility assistance, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Provide a valid photo ID, with the name on the ID matching the name on the utility bill.

• Provide your most recent Xcel Energy statement, dated within the past 30 days.​​

We understand that energy costs can create challenges for families, and we’re here to help you find the support and stability you deserve.

Appointments may be booked up to seven days in advance and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
