Service Description
During this class, a Certified Doula prepares expectant parents with essential knowledge and skills for labor, delivery, infant feeding and postpartum recovery. These classes cover topics such as stages of labor, pain management techniques, medical interventions, newborn care, breastfeeding, and postpartum wellness. The goal is to empower parents with confidence, informed decision-making, and practical tools to navigate their birth experience.

Cancellation Policy
Families Forward Resource Center (FFRC) – Childbirth Education Class Booking Policy 1. Eligibility Classes are open to pregnant individuals and their support partners residing in the Denver metro area. Priority is given to participants enrolled in FFRC programs or referred through partner agencies (e.g., Denver Human Services, Healthy Start). 2. Registration Registration is required in advance through our online booking system or by calling our office. A confirmation email or text will be sent once your registration is complete. Waitlists will be created if classes reach capacity; participants will be notified as space becomes available. 3. Class Fees FFRC’s childbirth classes are offered free of charge to eligible participants as part of our wraparound support services. Donations are welcome and help us expand services to more families in need. 4. Attendance & Cancellations Participants are encouraged to attend all scheduled sessions to gain the full benefit of the program. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance so we can offer the spot to another family. Repeated no-shows without notice may affect your ability to register for future classes. 5. Accessibility Classes are offered in-person and virtually when possible. Please indicate your preferred format when registering. Language interpretation and accessibility accommodations are available upon request. 6.
