Mini Moves - Nurturing Beginnings
A 6-week parent certification class designed for caregivers and their babies (newborn to 18 months). Through guided activities, movement, music, and discussion, parents learn how to support early development, strengthen bonding, and build confidence in their caregiving journey.

Mini Moves: Nurturing Beginnings is a six-week interactive class for parents and caregivers of babies ages newborn to 18 months. Led by an experienced Early Head Start educator, this program focuses on early childhood development while helping parents build confidence and connection with their baby.
Each weekly session combines learning, movement, and reflection. Parents will explore topics such as understanding infant cues, supporting motor development, building healthy routines around feeding and sleep, and strengthening emotional bonding. Sessions include guided activities like baby movement exercises, music and sensory play, and calming techniques for both parents and babies.
This supportive group setting also provides space for parents to connect with other caregivers, ask questions, and share experiences. By the end of the program, participants will have practical tools they can use daily to support their child’s growth and well-being.
